Rose Maccio, active member, and Susan Potter, President of the The Butterfly Monarchy Club, had a wonderful time at the Aiken Garden Show, sharing their passion for Monarchs, milkweed and swallowtails. As club representatives, they were stationed at a stunning property in Aiken’s Horse District, and it was nothing short of spectacular.
A Picturesque Setting
The property, nestled in the heart of the Horse District, was a gardener’s dream. Beautifully groomed with mature plants and trees, the grounds were bursting with flowers, creating a vibrant backdrop for the event. And let’s not forget the horses, adding an extra touch of charm to the already picturesque scene.

Rose and Susan delighted attendees with their extensive knowledge about Monarchs and their essential relationship with milkweed. They also discussed the fascinating world of herbs and swallowtails, captivating the crowd with their enthusiasm and expertise.
